Cara Lane

Cara Lane received her PhD in English and Textual Studies from the University of Washington in 2003. She is currently a research scientist for Catalyst Research and Development, in the Office of Learning Technologies, at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her research informs the design of new educational technologies and suggests pedagogical strategies for their use. For the past three years, she has studied ePortfolios in coordination with the National Coalition for Electronic Portfolio Research.
Bruce Landon

Bruce Landon is a member of the psychology department of Douglas College, New Westminster, British Columbia and a Senior Advisor with the Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications (WCET), Boulder, Colorado. He is the lead advisor on the WCET-Edutools ePortfolio Partners Project that reviewed alternative ePortfolio systems. Bruce earned his doctorate in experimental social psychology from Rutgers University. He has worked in applied research settings as well as clinical settings. Bruce began teaching at Douglas College in 1976 and currently teaches courses in introductory psychology, and cognitive psychology. At Douglas College he has also been involved in contract negotiations about educational technology at both the local and provincial tables. Bruce's current involvement extends from human-computer interaction in web-based decision support technology to community based treatment programs for victims of child abuse.
Paul Wasko

Paul Wasko is currently the Director for Online Academic Services and related efforts within the Academic Affairs Division of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.. This role includes responsibility for project management and leadership of Minnesota's Electronic Portfolio Project. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Wasko was the Assistant Director for iSeek Solutions. iSeek Solutions is a public-private collective of state agencies and organizations focused on addressing workforce and education opportunities.
