Multimedia Technology: Getting Started cover

This series introduces multimedia technology. Topics include how to apply multimedia in an educational setting, equipment needed and how to develop a multimedia project for enhanced learning. The series features demonstrations by educators and trainers using multimedia applications in the classroom.

Program One: Orientation to Multimedia

This program provides a brief overview of the entire series. Topics include: what multimedia means, how to apply it to the learning environment, and future directions and growth.

Program Two: Hardware Introduction

This program explains how to use multimedia equipment and accessories for lecture and individualized learning situations. It also discusses PC and Apple platforms and the differences between analog and digital technology.

Program Three: Software Introduction

Program Twelve: On-Line Course Delivery

This session covers the procedures for delivering a course over the World Wide Web. Technical and instructional strategies are examined for using this interactive multimedia tool for distance learning.
